What is the difference between BTY Luxury and BTY Everyday?

BTY Luxury is our premium collection of raw, single-donor Vietnamese human hair. Carefully sourced for its quality, natural texture and longevity, this is our highest grade of hair for customers looking to invest in their install.

BTY Everyday is our more affordable collection of 100% virgin human hair. Designed for beautiful everyday installs without the luxury price tag.

What is raw single-donor hair?

Raw single-donor hair is collected from one donor and has not undergone chemical processing to change its natural texture or colour.

Unlike hair collected from multiple donors, single-donor hair retains greater consistency in its natural characteristics, offering exceptional quality and longevity when properly maintained.

Our BTY Luxury collection is sourced from Vietnam.

How long does BTY hair last?

With proper care, BTY Luxury bundles can last 3–5 years or longer, making them a long-term investment.

BTY Everyday bundles can last approximately 1–2 years, depending on how frequently they’re worn, styled and maintained.

These are estimated lifespans rather than guarantees. Regular washing, deep conditioning, gentle detangling and minimal heat styling will help keep your hair looking its best.

Can I bleach or dye BTY hair?

Yes! Both BTY Luxury and BTY Everyday can be professionally coloured, although the results and recommended lifting levels will vary between collections and textures.

BTY Luxury: Our raw Vietnamese hair offers greater colouring versatility thanks to its unprocessed nature.

BTY Everyday: Our virgin hair can also be coloured, but we recommend a more conservative approach, particularly with curly textures.

We always recommend professional colouring, a strand test before processing and regular conditioning treatments afterwards.

Please note that bleaching can permanently alter curl patterns and affect the hair’s strength and longevity.

BTY Colour Bar is our collection of professionally pre-coloured human hair extensions, available in a selection of rich, dimensional shades including Iced Mocha, Honey Latte and Toffee Nut Latte.

As our Colour Bar hair has undergone professional colouring, it requires a little extra care. We recommend hydrating shampoos, regular deep-conditioning treatments and minimal heat styling to keep your colour looking fresh and your hair feeling soft.

Can I straighten or curl my BTY hair?

Absolutely! BTY hair is 100% human hair and can be styled using heated tools.

We recommend using a heat protectant, keeping temperatures as low as practical and avoiding excessive heat to preserve the hair’s natural texture.

For curly textures, repeated straightening may gradually loosen the original curl pattern.

How should I care for my BTY hair?

A little maintenance goes a long way.

• Wash regularly using a gentle, moisturising shampoo.
• Deep condition to maintain softness and manageability.
• Detangle gently, working from the ends upwards.
• Always use heat protection before styling.
• Avoid excessive oils, heavy products and product build-up.
• Store your bundles or wigs properly when not in use.
• For curly textures, use water and a lightweight leave-in conditioner to refresh the curls.

The better you care for your BTY hair, the longer you can enjoy it.

How long will it take to receive my hair? 

We offer next day delivery and same day collection (London) on all in stock items.

What if I would like to collect?

Hair collection can be done at our Shoreditch branch. You will need to leave a phone number with your order and you will be contacted for a collection time. Collection is available Mon-Saturday. Between 6-8pm every evening.

When is the cut off time for next day delivery?

To receive next day delivery, you must order before 2pm (Monday - Thursday). Any orders made outside of this time frame will be dispatched the next working day.

What if my item is not in stock?

For items that are custom ordered or not in stock in our Shoreditch store, delivery will take between 5-7 working days delivery.

Can I return my order?

For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on any opened or used hair products. Please ensure you are satisfied with your selection before opening your order.

If you believe your item is defective or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your package at hello@destinationbty.com. We will review your claim and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or exchange at no extra cost.

Unopened/Unused Returns

In accordance with UK consumer law, customers have the right to return unopened and unused items within 14 days of receipt.
 To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be in its original packaging, unopened, and in the same condition you received it.
• You must contact us within 14 days of delivery to request a return.
• Once your return is approved, you will receive instructions on how to send the item back.

Please note: Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

How to return my order ?

All returns must be sent via tracked mail to

You will the need to provide us with a tracking number for your return parcel. The return parcel must label your order number clearly. Once we have received the parcel we will process the refund.

Important

Refunds processed via Klarna or Clearpay are subject to a 5% deduction to cover non-refundable payment processing fees charged by those services.

Refunds will not be issued for any products that are opened, used, or returned outside the 14-day return window.
